The end of Windows XP

CASOS DE ÉXITO

When Microsoft wanted to communicate the end of Windows XP, it enlisted the services of this agency for its communication in the regional media. The objective was to explain the termination and its reasons in the 17 Spanish autonomous communities: the withdrawal of a product as a normal part of its life cycle, the involvement of Microsoft’s partners to help users to migrate, and the risks that society assumed if they decided not to follow this and to keep XP.

The result obtained was even more satisfactory than the ambitious goals set from the outset, as at least one media outlet in each of the 52 Spanish provinces echoed Microsoft’s messages.

In total, 48 press interviews, 50 print media reports, 213 online media hits, 19 radio interviews and 8 television hits were managed.
